Posts: 570 Location: Germantown, WI | I first saw something about this new lure in like October. Thought this was coming out around show season, but January and most of February have now passed and I’m wondering.....where the heck is this new lure and when is it coming out?? I’ve very interested in picking a few up....anyone hearing anything when we can expect them to start selling?

Posts: 570 Location: Germantown, WI | Patiently Waiting (ok, maybe not too patiently since i started up the conversation again).. but would appear this should be released very very soon now. anyone hearing if when it's first released, will it be just stock colors or will Team Rhino, Musky Tackle Online, or even Musky Innovations themselves have some custom colors available right way for this lure too?

I looked on TRO's site, and it looks like the page has the custom colors in the color selection box. (Right now it's the email when available box.)

Posts: 156 | I am interested in a update on this one as well, anyone heard anything? and the big one too! will these release at the same time? I would be disappointed if they made the attachment unique and not compatible with current shallow invaders. Although maybe necessary if the tail moves too much

Posts: 570 Location: Germantown, WI | And still waiting..... saw a couple guides or pro staff guys posted IG photos of these baits that had just arrived for them in last few weeks......but I can’t believe it’s now mid April and we still can’t buy these yet. Let’s go Musky Innivations!!

Posts: 570 Location: Germantown, WI | Another 3 weeks has now passed and here it is May 1st almost, fishing season opens in the Southern Zone of WI..... Is there something wrong here that these lures were never released? One would think Feb/march show season they would have flown like hot cakes.... wonder what the problem is?

Posts: 936 | COVID is the problem. Getting supplies has been very difficult for all musky lure companies. I know of 2 other companies that had planned on releasing a new lure this spring and still have not gotten supplies to do so. Be patient lures will be out sometime. Is it that important to have a paddle tail on your invader? I doubt it’s much different than the original.

Posts: 426 Location: Perryville, MO | Kirby Budrow - 4/29/2021 8:17 AM Is it that important to have a paddle tail on your invader? I doubt it’s much different than the original. Whereas I appreciate the fact that it's something different, I am a bit confused as to the apparent dire need for this new tool to be available via the manufacturer. If you really want one for the opener just do what lots of us have already done...buy a paddle tail, make a few modifications, and slap the thing on there. Problem solved. For the record, I really like Invaders. And I have a couple with modified paddle tails, as well as a couple with curly tales. But as Kirby, questioned, I'm not really convinced any have outshined the originals. In truth, I have no rhyme or reason for grabbing one over the other anymore.

Posts: 570 Location: Germantown, WI | Then don’t buy one guys, I love my swimmin dawgs and my invaders.... kind of like peanut butter and chocolate.....it’s like a recess peanut butter cup for me now when MI put these 2 together I guess.... I enjoy buying, throwing and collecting lures... does that somehow bother you? Thought this site was for enthusiasts.....

Posts: 426 Location: Perryville, MO | Nope, doesn't bother me at all. I like recess peanut butter cups too. But if the store didn't have them for some reason and I had a serious yen, I'd just buy some chocolate and peanut butter and put them together myself. After four posts of your significant appetite on display, I just thought maybe I'd lead you to the table.

I see where you're coming from, but there's nothing quite like the genuine article, be it Reese's peanut butter cups, or a particular lure.. I keep an ample suppy of each on hand..lol Attachments ---------------- 0150.jpg (30KB - 303 downloads)

I was picking up groceries today, and a guy was setting up a big display of them right where I had to go to get to the self check out lane. Cases and cases of them. Did not see price and might not have noticed if not for the earlier post but I am guessing it was a special with that much floor space right up front in the store.
