Looking for suggestions on lures for shallow streams. I have 2 nice streams that I like to fish. I do very well in the holes on glides and bulldawgs but out in the creek 1-3' deep I don't catch very many fish and lose a ton of lures. Even the shallow dawgs get hung up pretty easy.

If the water is moving fairly quickly, try a Top raider. Cast upstream and just pick up slack line. Let the current spin the tail. You’ll think you’re reeling too slow. You won’t be.

All good suggestions. Roger makes a great shallow crankbait that will work in that situation with big time side roll and flash.

I've always done well on shallow rivers in summer and fall on Zara Spooks, walk the dog has had them explode numerous times and the 6" size has had a 90+% hookup rate.

Baby Shallow Raiders and Bagley Top Guns work well in skinny water.

Storm swim shads are great to use too and if you lose one you’re not out a bunch of money either.
