Heading up to Eagle first weekend of July, curious if anyone has fished it recently.
Water temps and weed growth?

I just got back from the west end. high 60's water temp. Little weed growth. Some guys got 'em but I didn't. Heard east end is better.

Thanks Brian for the report, I’m going to be staying in Vermillion Bay and fish the West Arm and The Big water. Nice to hear that the water temps are that far along already. You get to see any of the super tankers out west looking at your baits at least?

I didn't really fish for them.

I heard some were taken trolling over open water. I would guess somewhere around Strawberry Island. Check with Gord he should be able to help. If you don't get on 'em relatively quick I would head to the East end with the dirtier water.
