Hopefully, they will be showing up on the rocks, by then. Going to be in the 80's, for a few days, starting on Wednesday. Good luck!

I'll be out with Luke Ronnestrand for 4 days starting this Thursday. I'll report back on how we do.

Kirby, I saw you with that Tiger on Phantom's Facebook page. Nice one!!! Was that from Vermilion?

Sorry, my picture wouldn't upload. Yeah I got a tiger on V. It was cool, but the fishing was really slow still. Small packs of fish in open water if you can find them, and small fish still in the weeds. The big ones have yet to show themselves from what I gather.

Well I'm back, Fishing was decent at best. We mainly targeted open water fish. we went 2 for 9. Casting and Trolling. didn't have the luck on our side to keep the fish pinned, even Luke stated that it was his worst hookup to landing percentage. We only boated small fish. Had a couple other guys at the lodge get 6 in the boat nothing over 50.. They casted open water, weeds and rocks. Yesterday morning Luke and his clients bagged a 55 and 47 though... Was a scorcher on Saturday, not to bad on Sunday. I would guess with the temps the fish will be leaving the open water very soon.

Pepper, I'll be up there the 6th through the 16th. Mostly fishing smallies and pike with my daughter, but have to poke around for muskies a bit. I'll probably troll mostly though.
