Quick survey

Anyone use solar panels to charge their batteries while on the water?

I feel like this would help me out in the summer to keep my trolling and main batteries as full as possible.

JMO, for everyday use too large, and expensive for the amount of power generated. Might not be a bad idea for an extended trip to the boondocks tho. If you have a 24v system, your options are a lot more limited.

I don't know anything about your rig, but if the motor's big enough, this might be an option..
