Might be going for two days in July, what is the best lake to fish for numbers and what are some areas to target? PM if you prefer, thanks.

Numbers lake would be Wingra, but the weeds should be in full force. You’ll have to fish the center of the lake, and fish like small baits there. Not uncommon to see a dozen fish though.

Monona and Waubesa are both awesome, just going to be busy with pleasure boating and fishermen.

Wingra will be weed choked out by July and water will be too hot to fish there.
Waubesa or Monona be your best bet, as long as water is under 80. Madison lakes last year were too hot 90% of July.
