| You could do the poor mans copyright.
Make the lure, paint it with the name on it then go to a post office and mail it to yourself. Then you leave the box sealed with the lure in it. If you ever wanted to sue or go to court you bring in the box with the lure in it and have the judge check the post office seal/date and then open it. |

| It is proof that he made the lure, named it and the date made. It is used by artists from time to time to copy right songs or material when they cant afford the copy right. This way if he went to court, wanted to sue or some issue he has proof that he made it before the date on the package, and since it went through the post office it has a Legal date/time stamp that can be submitted in court. |
