Trying to set up the gopros, for muskie....
One will be worn (head Mount)
One will be on a post mount rear of boat.

Thinking Loop mode
5minute interval
1080P or 720P
30FPS or 60FPS
Wide field of view?

Anything else??

If you can loop mode longer, I would suggest you do. 5 minutes JUST covers most CPR events, might miss something cool. Not sure what that model offers, but the 3 allowed 20 minutes, which is perfect.

FWIW, Hero6 has one-button on/record, and voice controls that actually work... Huge upgrade from the 3, IMO. Huge upgrade from the 5, as well.

If you are running 1080P / 60fps, make sure you have an SD card that's capable of the transfer speed. Oh, and those little anti-fog pads are a must if you are still using one of those that requires the full housing, and plan to put it in/out of the water.

I stick with 5min loop, just stop when fish hits the net and start when fish is pulled from net. If you don't edit with 20min loop file sizes will be HUGE.
Also recommend not using wide field of views, you get fish eye look and everything looks tiny. Hero5 has linear, otherwise consider medium or even narrow for headcam.

720 60fps and 1080 30fps are your standards OR if you plan on editing try 1080 @ 60fps and see if your laptop can handle playback without artifacting.
