I grew up fishing St.Clair. In the mid to late 80's my father and I caught a bunch in the Western Basin Walleye Fishing. Anyone hear of anything as of late?

Some walleye charters told me they catch a few out by the bass islands, but a recent telemetry study showed tagged fish in the upper Detroit River swim 30 miles down to Erie and at least one swam to Buffalo NY and was back in Mich waters by January. Fish around here migrate a lot but that's nuts.

Thanks John.

One year we caught 23 in the month of June. Nothing for size. I do know they fish around the lower end of the river.

I have noticed a increase in recent years. I have witnessed them caught in breast bay area and also the reef complex around bessie to what Jon said the bass islands area. Far and few between biggest if hear of was 48".
