The Leech Lake strain appear to be doing well on the Fox Chain of Lakes, in Illinois.

The Illinois "Mutt" Muskies are also doing well.

It is exciting to see both the larger Leech Lake strain and Illinois fish showing up around the same sizes (45-47), around the same time, and on the same body of water. It has been a while. A long time ago... one could catch several different Muskie strains in many different lakes.

Just wondering if anyone is willing to share any thoughts on this topic.

Thank you for your time.

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't
The chain has been doing great with muskie this year. The tournament was awesome this year, even though I didn't fish in the tournament I was out there and saw a ton of nice fish caught and caught a small one myself.
