| i don't get it,if the image came from google image it mean it CAN came from a user that can be him no??
how did you know the picture was not from him? what did you lose?

| Too lazy to take a picture of his own baits? Maybe he doesn't know how to get them off his phone? I agree that if you're going to trade something or sell it you really should take a picture of the actual item, but posting stock images does not necessarily make the guy a fraud. But then I sent a check to one the regulars here a good 10 years ago. He cashed the check. Still waiting for my baits. |

Location: Plainfield IL | The trade offer was for a calcutta 400te. It seemed fishy from the get go as it was a new account from a month or so ago with 2 posts. I got photos of "his" reel and so I did a quick google search for calcutta te and low and behold he copy pasted images from google from a 2011 add on a bass site. There was a scammer on here a month ago from Winnipeg. Same story as that clown. Besides I got 0 back from him when confronted with the pics. |

| This is the SAME guy that ripped me off two years ago under a different alias here. I put a post about it up back then.,,ex con who if you go to his Facebook page he looks like a total lowlife and there's nothing but negative comments on his Facebook wall,,evidently he was a ,,,,girlfriend while incarcerated and has been in and out of trouble his whole life.
The Canadian authorities should be notified about what he's doing and I'm guessing he probably has a probation officer.

| Update: after going back and forth, TheRipper ended up doing the right thing. The reel never got to his possession and is being redirected back to me. I'm grateful he refused my package and I guess I got lucky! Finally can sleep a little better at night now!

| Whenever I see a new poster selling a bunch of gear I automatically assume the stuff is stolen, especially when they can't even describe/name the stuff properly. When selling? Well, it's pretty easy. I'll send your whatever when the check clears the bank.
Always better when it's one of the regulars. Even if you don't get paid you know who they are and it's only a matter of time until you run into them somewhere on the water or at a show or something.... |
