Have any of you guys built one? I’m going to build a scale model today. Just encase are a top tier product, but having many other expensive hobbies I save where I can, and this is a place I can substantially. I work with polycarbonate acrylic fairly often and they’re pretty easy to use. I’ve got a sheet of 1/4” poly I plan on using but I think a guy could probably use acrylic if he wasn’t jumping up and down on it. If you’ve built one, let’s see it !

I made one a couple of years ago. I had wanted to buy one for a while but couldn't justify the price (I'm sure they are worth it, but I didn't have the budget for one). I was able to salvage a few sheets of ¼" acrylic from a remodel. Ripped it on the table saw with a metal cutting blade. Built a box, welded together with IPS Weld-On 16. Then made a removable divider that interlocks together, with hook slots throughout the top. I added some kayak handles on the sides, and some drain holes in the bottom. So far it's held up great. I didn't bother with a lid, but I had some smaller scraps left so I used a square plastic bucket and made a divider for that as well. Added a gardening tool "bucket boss" accessory holder on the outside, made a hole in the center so I can keep it up front and mount my pedestal seat through it.

Let me know if you have any questions. I stole design ideas from what I found online. I also had it posted on my Instagram
