Posts: 4080 Location: Elko - Lake Vermilion | Have any of you "Pros" had any success with this Lure ? When they first came out, I thought that WOW.. great vibration, movement in the water, flashy... I used a few the first summer they came out without zero success... What say You ?

Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | Mostly bass fished with them, I have caught some lake trout jigging them too. I would say they would work fine if you can stand the annoying rod vibration long enough.

Lost a real big muskie on Mille Lacs about 12 years ago on a chatter bait. Otherwise just a couple follows and maybe a couple pike.

Posts: 343 | I had high hopes as well without any success. I still think in the right situation they should work, but I guess I never found the right situation.

Posts: 711 | Great hopes, no success. Conceptually they should work. I think down-sizing the blades would help but they are not so easy to modify. I would like to see a smaller blade, big body version. Think about how hard they pull in the current sizes...HARD, and things that pull hard displace a ton of water making them LOUD. My theory is that they are too loud in muskie sizes. Someone who makes them ...read this and lets test the theory with some baits for sale. #notaproanymore:)

Posts: 20178 Location: oswego, il | I think they would work well jigging or a rip pause. I made some heavy one's to vertical jig Lakers and they work. I bought some 4oz egg sinkers to make some.musky sized vertical baits. I made one that has a French blade bucktail and another with a spoon both worked very well.

Posts: 315 | Did real well last spring on them with the pre spawn smallies on rock humps. Have had some action with them for muskies but prolly don’t throw them enough recently.

Posts: 12 | https://youtu.be/t_LcUWYVRcs Here is the promo video for Angry Dragons. The Musky size chatterbait. This bait has put a ton of fish in many boats. Right now it comes in three different length sizes.(1.25 oz head, same blade on all 3 sizes) Next year the micro dragon will be available to retail.( smaller head, smaller blade and smaller body). The blade size for the micro dragon is between a bass size chatterbait and the original Angry Dragon blade. If anyone has any questions lemme know Www.tnatackle.com

Posts: 63 | I unhooked a 40 this year for a bass fisherman in late April on a yellow chatterbait in 4 FOW on the Fox chain. First and last I ever heard of but then again, the guy didn't have any fidget spinners so this was probably the best he could throw out there.
