Considering this boat. Any thoughts on towing one of these with a Tacoma double cab, 4WD, V6?

Any suggestions on a V 6Hull with walkthrough windshield. Features I’m looking for are 30-50 $k, large casting deck, light enough weight to two with a Tacoma

Thanks!

Thanks

I can only comment on the Tacoma, which IMO is bulletproof (just rolled 300k on my '10 V6-4WD in fact). I use it to tow my Tuffy E-Mag, but wouldn't want to tow anything much heavier. I'm guessing the weight of the boat as rigged, minus the trailer to be 1500-1600#. Gas mileage drops from 20 to 14.

Considering aluminum at all? You won't be thrilled with the acceleration, but it'll get you there. Keep in mind the Taco has drum brakes in the rear, so I'd prioritize something with electric brakes and add a Toyota or aftermarket brake controller to the Taco.

I looked at the newest gen Taco very hard before ultimately going full size because I intended to regularly pull 4-5000 lbs.
