| I'm sure it's been discussed before but winternet has me thinking along with a new boat coming in January I thought I'd ask it again anyway. Looking to see what options you guys have used to protect your boats from road rocks/debri while trailering. I have seen the brush guards and rock tamers that go on the hitch. My only issue is I don't want to leave it on the truck all the time. Hoping for something removable/ quick detach? |

Location: Twin Cities, MN | Towtector is pretty easy on / off and they also give you something to put on your wall to store it with. 98 % of my towing is local with no rock issues so I do not put mine on all that much though. It is one of the things I am looking to move to move this off season but figured I would have a higher chance of selling next spring.

Location: Twin Cities, MN | Check out Bow Buddy or perhaps Rock Guard, they go right on the trailer versus sliding onto your hitch.

Location: SW Ohio | I use the Rock Tamers. Don't drive on gravel roads but the crap on the highways has left some nice dings and dents on my aluminum hull. |

| I don't go on gravel, if I do it's at a crawl. There is a ton of crap on the roads that gets thrown up into the boat off the tires. especially off a truck that's lifted or has bigger tires. Have the biggest mud flaps sold but still end up with rock dings on the boat. |

Location: Otsego, MN | I’ve had a Towtector for 4 years. I hardly ever drive on gravel, but it keeps your boat protected from the dust a dirt when you do. Easy to install and comes with a receiver hanger to keep it out of the way in your garage. Guys have 70,000 dollar rigs I think it makes sense to protect them with a $300 investment. It’s cheaper than paying to fix fiberglass chips from road debri. They just keep the boat clean, snowmobiles, ATV, or anything you tow. |

Location: Northern Illinois | I made a bow bra from heavy tarp trimmed to fit and held in place with bungees under my boat cover. I only use when traveling to the Angle. |
