This is a truly cool event. One can choose which classes to attend, the morning opening session is engaging and educational, the lunch is killer, and the raffles for a great cause and REALLY worth an investment in tickets.

Attend if you can!

I couldn't add much to this except to say that these presenters have all been open to questions (no matter the experience level of the person asking the question), and will give you their honest opinions. Many do have their own products to pimp, but have never seen any presenter use this platform to push you towards their products or sponsor's products. Truly an unbiased forum (IMHO).
I've been going to this school for quite a few years now, and am more than happy with what they've presented, and will continue to attend. If you don't pick up some usable info here, you're not listening. See you there. Don

We have room for one more student to take our all-day rod building class where you will build your own muskie rod. The rod builder guild will be there to show you all you ever wanted to know about the fine art of making a solid muskie rod.  One of our reel repair/maintenance classes is filled but we still have room in 2 of the classes that run from 10:30- Noon and 1-2:30.  Other than those- there is plenty of room to improve your muskie skills- as I look out the window now at -15 or lower temps.

Time to sharpen up hooks, get your reels and rods ready for the '19 muskie season.  This class is designed for Intermediate & Advanced Muskie anglers.  You have many, many choices of classes and demonstrations such as having top experts show you how to work baits in the pool where you can really see how they work!! It is about impossible to see how baits are running or jumping in a typical stained lake.  The instructors are first class and each has in-depth knowledge and they are willing to share their knowledge with you.  Catered lunch this year will have an abundance of chicken & meat. Last year we ran short of meat due to complications at the catering service - but we have that fixed this year and you will NOT go away hungry!!!  If you get in on the early sign-ups you save $10 and get the early bird $35/fee and a shot a the gift card raffle ($200 and also $100).  Who knows you could be the big winner this year.  We also will have a tremendous raffle, Super Raffle and Silent Auctions (cabin rental, guided trips, Green Bay Packers NFL football authentic and signed by the 2018 team.  We'll raffle a ton of quality baits, tackle boxes, mid-grade and high end muskie rod & reel combos!!!!!
It's a fun day and you will come away with some new ideas to help you put more muskies in your boat this season.  It is open to the public.  Join us for a good time and excellent learning opportunity.

Also, note that the sessions that are held in the classrooms will be limited to the first 25 students (it does not include sessions in the Performing Arts Center, library, Small Auditorium or pool). The attendance at the school is limited to the first 300 who register. March 1 is the deadline for early registration to be eligible for an early bird registration gift card (one of 3) that will be awarded at the school.
Join us for a great day of gathering tips and new ideas for the 2019 Muskie season!

This was the third best well-attended Muskie Schools we have offered over the past 18 years. The students had some excellent questions and comments throughout the day. We are reviewing the Muskie School Evaluations this week and we will take the suggestions and recommendations to heart and will strive to improve the 2020 Muskie school. We apologize for the delay in getting the lunch served but the caterers truck that was bringing much of the lunch experienced a rear-end traffic accident on the way to the Muskie School - dog gone it! They had to dispatch a second vehicle to pick up the food and hustle it to our lunch. That delayed the school by about 45"- an hour. Bummed. The group was very understanding again we apologize for the inconvenience. Many thanks to the instructors and the students who attended and we hope to see you next year. Have a great Muskie season!
