Should have casted some top water at it and snagged it, then you could have said it fought to it's death. Lol. True Mille Lacs tank. Good find Steve.

I have a feeling that fish just died of old age. Giant for sure. 50# and it was dead? That is incredible. Just think what that thing would have been in Oct/Nov?

Yea, and if he picked it up out by 4 mile and yet is taking pictures in by shore, I'm guessing he had that thing out of the water quite a long time too.
