Is trolling with suicks and bobbie baits something you can do for suspended fish in the summer time or is it just a fall shallow water thing. Also has anybody ever trolled any burts? Wanting to try something different any comments on trolling jerks is appreciated. Thanks in advance JD

Jdesox,This is new to me this year but has put two fish in my boat,a pair of 36's.But troll along between 1.5 to 3 mph ripping a wades wobbler along. I'am sure a Boobie or a Suick will give same results. I've pulled Burts last fall and scored a 0 on'em but they do look great in the water. They glid back and forth. Not sure if it was just poor condition or the lure. The same lures have been hit while be casted.I'am fishing water in front of weed beds not open water.Yes it alittle tough on your arm but for the little I've done this year it's working. One more thing on burts is they seem to me, "IMHO" not to like a whole lotta speed, before they want to spinout in the water.Maybe mine are not tune up to be pulled fast.Hope this helps and catch a pig Dennis Blume
