I'm looking for a few, very rare Muskie fishing titles. This is a long shot, but I've been hunting for these titles for quite a while. If you know where I may be able to locate a copy of any of them, please PM me. As for you other collectors out there, I may have a very scarce title to trade, if you have one of the titles below.

Thank you!

Dick Rose "The Musky Hunter's Complete Guide to Musky and Striper Equipment"
Danny Wade "The Musky Manual" 1st Edition
Wally Chodak and Bob Hochrein "Muskie Fishing"

I'm also seeking 2 0f those 3 as well as a few others. I have some goodies to sell or trade as well. I'm up to about 500 titles of both pure musky and chapters of musky.

Thanks, Ghoti. I suppose Al would know more than most on where to locate these books.

Al is a great start, although he doesn't seem to be as active in the book world as he used to. After he wrote his book, he donated his collection to the Hall of Fame in Hayward. I do see him selling a few here and there.

Has anyone contacted my grandpa, Larrry Ramsell? He used to deal with older/out of print books. Not certain if he still does or not, may be worth a try.

Caiden, I've been buying books from your grandfather for a long time. He is the one that got me started on this crazy quest. The "list" in the first Compendium launched me! Now more books than I have room.

He does that! He has me hooked on books and my bucktail collection! I'm pretty sure I spend more money on bucktails to hang up than I do to catch fish with!

Not sure if you're still looking, but Bob Hochrein was my dad and I have some copies of the Muskie Fishing book he and Wally wrote. I don't know if you are still looking for one, but I'd love to hear about how the book is known!

Thanks!

Doesn't look like Matt has been on here in almost a year.

I would be very interested in receiving a copy of your father's book...whether it's purchasing or just borrowing to read.
