| I'm in the market for a new/newer boat. Currently i have a modified v jon boat. It works good, but can't handle some bigger water. I'm thinking I want to go with a glass boat like a 618t or osprey. I'm looking to spend around 20k. Any suggestions? |

| 618T is an awesome rig. I have had mine for over a year and could not be happier. They are a little difficult to find used, but if you find a good deal snatch it up quick because it will be gone. |

I just traded a 618t for a Skeeter mx1825.
The 618 is a great tiller boat. I was very happy with mine and I only traded because as I get older I want the walk through windshield to hide behind.
Also, if you get a big tiller boat try to find one with the power steering unit, it made mine much nicer to drive. |

Location: WI | My buddy bought a yarcraft 209tfx this year. Best big water boat I've ever been in. I have been looking at a new 186 tfx. Super nice layout. And really nice fit and finish. |

The power steering is great on big tillers, but sadly Merc bought the company, and they are now only sold for Mercs.
I have read, I think on walleye central, that the 618s with E-tecs have much less steering torque with 4 blade props.
