Location: northern indiana | If throwing big baits, make sure to thumb the spool while setting the hooks. I've had to learn the hard way about a 15lb max drag weight more than once. Now I tend to steer away from them. |

| I use it for all pourpose. Its a sweet casting reel. IMO a 400te with power handle brings in 13's a little easier however. |

Location: Minnesota | It's a good all around reel. I like the TE better. I won't sell the one i have but I won't buy any more 400 D. |
