| "need" seems to be the key word there. You probably "should" fog them. It doesn't hurt anything, it's cheap, just one more preventative step. sooooo, why not? | |

| I put a tsp of oil in the block and do the same with my optimax. I am sure it will take longer than the winter to form rust though in my oppinion. | |

| Is your 4-stroke injected or carbed? If carbed, go ahead. If injected, I would not, as you run the risk of clogging the injectors.
Putting oil in the cylinder does nothing, but create a puddle of oil that will likely foul your plugs next spring on first start.
Run Stabil or your preferred brand of fuel stabilizing product through the motor, check/replace fuel filter/water separator, check the lower unit for water, repair seal if required, replace lower unit lube, check/repack you trailer wheel bearings, and plug in your onboard charger. You'll be good to go next spring. | |

What Shep said. I prefer Seafoam as a fuel stab. in any and all my engines but that's just me.

| If optimax, I run the additives they recommend. Put quickstore in the last tank of the year. | |
