Ouch! That had to hurt to look at. I guess I have no right to complain about the cold temps and flurries in northern IL.

It'll go fast this time of year.

Will do, Murph. We need the moisture too, but I was hoping for rain and 70's. Pipe dreams, big time.

Thats just a little light "dusting"!! We are geting hammered on a daily basis in Presque Isle. I got jealous looking at the nice weather illustrated in your attachment. Will it ever end or will we roll right into next fall as this winter ends?Dont laugh it has snowed here on the 4th of July.

KOOL pic. dude! Where's the little penquin? Actually to the right of the pic, it looks like a robot holding up a mug of hot cocoa w/ a whipped cream topping to weary travelers from afar. Left the Discomfort at 6:30 sharp a.m. last Sunday and hit a daggone major blizzard about an hr. or so later...could hardly see. Takes 10" of snow to make 1" of rain, so you better hope it does one or the other! I don't see how you guys handle all the weird weather; must be a major mental challenge waiting for spring! Peeps here run neck-ed through the streets to celebrate warm weather...

The Weather Channel just indicated that Woodstock is supposed to get 6" of the white stuff tomorrow night and Monday. I may be taking a similar picture........

Steve and Howie, I wish we got the snow, but instead ended up with 4 inches of ice, We lost power last night, froze my ass off and will get to start cutting up all the branches and trees that came down, I would of rather of had snow, but this ice sucks....

Ditto on the ice in Michigan..I lost a ton of trees. It is going to be a long clean up. Might miss the muski season. Lost the power to the ice storm about noon Saturday. Predictions are for power to be restored by thursday! Generator is keeping up with the furnace, well, lights etc..hardly roughing it. Went for a scary walk in the woods about midnight last night, wasn't a minute without hearing a tree going down somewhere. They are LOUD

Just got back from attempting to go to work this morning.  I only made about a mile outside of town.  Didn't want to go too bad, it's a 2 hour drive.  We've got about 6 to 8 inches right now in Eastern Iowa and it shows no sign of letting up yet.  Looks like another day on the boards.

Woke up to 10 inches of white nasty stuff. Wind blowing 15-30 mph, with temps around 20 degrees. Not like last week with highs in the upper 70's. But thats weather in northwest Iowa.
