| I guess this question would be directed at Mr. Worrall, since he is the creature master. With the falling water temps, especially with the deep freeze tonight...what type of creature presentation do you use?? Do you vertical jig the deep weed lines or use swimming head type heads with tails? Thanks for your creature wisdom.
P.S. I recently purchased an 6'6 Aurora Steve Worrall signature rod, and it is now my front line crank and jerk rod.

| I use a creature as a 'jump lure', regardless of the conditions. Cast the lure out, let it hit the bottom (while counting it down),point the rod DIRECTLY at the lure, and turn the reel handle a couple times, VERY QUICKLY. Let the lure hit bottom, repeat...17 pound mono is the line for beginners, then mid teen weight superlines once you are tuned in to the presentation. 60# Sevenstrand is my choice of leader material.
I use diamond head style jigs for weeds, and swimmers on the stones. Saw a 'new' creature this weekend, the 'Dragon Lizard' ( tough as all getout), and will be trying one out soon on a Violent Strike jig head.
Herbie has a good jig available, too, by Bait Rigs tackle, a VERY nice design.[]
