| I fished at night a few times this year and did ok. but I like to throw topwater at night over shallow cover. looking to do a little more of it next year because its a lot of fun.
What does everyone else like to do?

Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Topwater is always awesome. Got a couple on topwater this year well after dark. Fished prime spots well after the pressure calms down. Blades are still my go to. When fishing solo I often go through with blades then return with topwater.
Saftey first at night. Use your lights! This has been covered a lot over the years. Keep a clean boat. Cut hooks that are swinging free if fishing solo.
execute good fig 8's. Up sized lures and slower retrieve speeds are my go to's after dark.
Good luck
Steve

Location: Minnesota. | Fishing after it's dark has never been much fun for this boy. I have enough trouble when I can see what's goin' on...

| Have any of you guys had luck fishing at night late in the season? If so, what tactics are you using? I primarily fish Vilas county in the fall / late all. Thanks. |
