| I have a couple options.
Can I store it in a shed outside during winter (canada) with stabilizer? It's about 75% full.
Can I find a way to transfer it to my car? I don't know how to do that, It doesn't seem easy to empty/transfer these 25L tanks!?!?

| Put the tank higher than your car (roof maybe) then get a clear hose/tube. Use your lungs to suck enough gas to get into tube to below the boat tank and good ol gravity will do the rest. |

| Do the additives we put in our boat fuel like quickleen effect our cars if we put the fuel in it from the boat? |

| ^ good question. I use startron fuel preserver. I know that is safe. Another thing to consider is that an empty fuel tank can rust inside if it's metal when empty for long periods. |

Negative on using your lungs... Dangerous as all get out. If you can, remove the motor connection form your tank hose. Put the tank above whatever container you have and put the now bare hose end into the container...
Squeeze the primer bulb... Once going, it should flow freely as the ball in the bulb will not fall back into place due to the flow of fuel.
If the connector is crimped on, get a separate hose, plug one end and fill it with fuel from another container. Submerge the open end in your gas tank, then remove the plug from the other end, keeping it lower than the tank and ready to drain into your new container.
No ingestion of fuel...

Location: Detroit River | Any left over gas in my portable tank I put it in my truck. I use a funnel to dump the gas into a 5 gal can then use that to put it in my truck. |

You can stabilize the fuel and store it without any issue. I do that with the boat and have a 23 gallon on board tank. So long as it is stabilized it should be good to go in the spring. If this type of process didn't work, the service centers would be constantly fixing motors due to gummed up fuel systems.
Stabilize it and you are good to go... Even for 6 months.
My boat gets it next week until April or so.

I have a 24 gal. plastic tank on my Lund and it sits from December to late March.
No Problemo. |

| If the lid is tight on the tank it won't matter. Metal tanks may sweat though but I would not sweat it if its treated. |

My rig sits outside...no shed...wrapped in plastic. Still ok. |

| Mine sits out as well. No issues. I have a built in tank and use startron, not stabil. It has enzymes in it that eats water/moisture that brutal winter can dish out. Not bashing stabil by any means , I just use what works for me and have never used stabil or seafoam. |
