Location: Scandia MN | After many years and thousands of miles all across Minnesota Wisconsin and Ontario I finally caught one that crossed that magic line EIGHT MILES FROM MY HOUSE!!!
I've been instructed to not say exactly where but I live in Scandia so I'll let you figure it out.
Fish came in green and was so strong I needed assistance to hold it straight and get a decent pic (hey I'm old and beat up).
No reviving required at the release, it actually splashed water in my face when she took off.
Honest length was 52.5 and the girth was 24.
Not to shabby for a Metro fish. Locales claim it's the biggest to ever come out of that lake.
No way to know that but it has to be close.
Either way I'm a happy fella.
Now if I can catch 99 more and I might get into the Hall of Fame.

Great to see Cory being a part of that with you after you netted a giant for him last September.

| Nice work. I've fished that lake many times and never encountered a beast like that. I actually gave up fishing it last year because I couldn't handle the pea soup and floating weeds anymore during the summer!
Perhaps I need to get out there yet this fall |

| A fish like that should be properly celebrated. For me, any time I catch a nice one it means a nice, very dry Beefeater Gin Martini severed up with two olives. Enjoy! |
