Location: musky waters , WI | What it the approx. Line out for trolling dbl 10's at 4-5 foot level with 1oz weight in front and bucktail has 3/4 oz weight on it. Trolling at 3-3.5 MPH. Just looking for some info to get close and tweak from there. Thanks |

| I thought it would be like 1/5th. 100' of line gives you a depth of 20' or so. |

I don't see that being accurate. 1 oz of weight does very little for depth on 10.
I regularly troll em with a 1 ounce keel and a 3- 4 ounce bait. 30 - 40 back at 4mph it might be 2 feet down. |

| Your right, I am thinking of a 8-12 oz weight for the 1/5 method. 1oz is very small. |

Location: Sw Pennsylvania | I'm gonna take a guess at it, as I've trolled the dbl 10s a little over the past couple years, no success. Its probably gonna take you 30 to 40' to get you those depths at that speed with that little weight. Just a guess, I had atleast 8oz when trolled and was running a lot faster.

| Run it off a 8 ft down rod. Will put you right down there and probly get away with 20 ft |

| 12 to 16 oz at 3.5 to 4 mph will give you very close to the 5/1 ratio. |
