Location: Metro | Heading up near Mille Lacs this weekend and just wondering if anyone has been there to see what the lakes are like. I know the trees are starting to change so fall is here. But we did recently have some nice weather.
Any info would be great thank you! |

Location: MN | Would not consider Mille Lacs northern MN
I fished last weekend on a Leech area lake, water temps 62-65, little bit of decayed bottom vegetation has floated to the surface, but not much yet. Should see steadily falling temps this week. I never saw a fish all day, until I caught one just before 8 pm Sat evening. |

Location: Metro | I should have thought about what I was saying before I posted. From the Twin Cities and I am just used to calling the cabin up north. |

Location: Minnesota | Everyone has their own "up North". It's all about perspective but most of us in northern MN laugh at you when you think Brainerd is "up North".
Snowing and very windy today in Northern MN. Water temps are dropping fast. Leaves are way past peak colors now and I would guess we are in the process of turnover on the big lakes up here.

Location: Metro | Currently at the cabin in Deerwood. Have a cabin on Crooked Lake, very windy here. I hope I can get out tomorrow after we pull the boats. This wind might prevent that even though it is supposed to get less and less windy as the day goes on.
Thanks for the updates guys! |
