Anybody else been having any luck in any of the Iowa muskie lakes? I just spent the weekend fishing Pleasant Creek Lake. Fished Sunset on Friday to noon on Sunday with 3 naps mixed in. Managed to land a 38" lost a ~45" at the boat and had another 40+ follow, all 3 fish were seen Sunday morning before 11. Hooked both fish on single blade harassers.

The lake was mostly pea soup from algae and not a lot of fun to fish due to other boats. What do the other muskie lakes look like?

Water at Three Mile yesterday had a mild algea bloom, not many boats been using the lake, talked to one person who had a mid 30's fish. Lake has been fishing pretty tough!

Pleasant Creek has fished tough also. I'm averaging 27 hours per fish there this summer. They seem to be on, or very very definitely OFF. I have never been to three miles.
