Location: Central Wisconsin		I have a hellhound that the front hook screw eye can spin around. My question is, is it a thru wire setup or just screwed into the plastic? Regardless should I be worried about this?

AND I would NOT fish with it. If it spins it may come undone you could lose the bait and the fish could die.

Location: Central Wisconsin		I got a hold of drifter and they said it is not a thru wire design but it is a 8 style hanger. So as long as it can't be pulled out they said it should be fine. I will probably just retire it but it's good to know!

An 8 style hanger shouldn't spin either! Should have a stud through it. I would not fish it

Location: Central Wisconsin		Alright I will try to get the hanger out and put a screw eye in place of it. maybe slap a little epoxy just on that one to ensure strength. Also to be fair to drifter I bought the bait used and I had caught several fish on it. This is the first time I have had any problems with them and they catch fish! Thanks everyone for the help.
