Location: Athens, Ohio | Today, I start my countdown to 50. They say life begins at 50, but let me tell ya, I can't remember being much happier than I am today. Maybe it's like this old guy told me a couple weeks ago, "Any day I wake up above ground is a good day!"
Among my many blessings, my family, home, boat, I must count the blessings of knowing my MuskieFirst fishin buddies. Thank you guys so much. You have proved that this old dawg can learn a few new tricks, and without your help, patient instruction, time-on-the-water with me and constant encouragement, I'd have probably gone back to bass fishing a couple years ago.
Now, I'm gonna get to work and go home to whip up a pan of cornbread to go with Sue's fried chicken. Enjoy your day, and thank you all again, mm |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Thanks so much you guys. I know that I'm gettin old when the college cuties in my town who work behind the store counters greet me with 'sir'. OUCH. I still look around for dad when people call for Mr. Moschell. They say you don't get older, just better, but some days I feel I'm gettin older FASTER than I'm gettin better.
John, sounds like you are truly blessed. As the years go on, seems like the things we took for granted whey we were younger mean so much more, now. Like, good people like you folks. all my best, mm |

| Well look at it this way Mikie, every time you go to sleep now it's a "near death" experience.
Let me know when you are ready to go fishing, hopefully we can get a trip in before you put on the attends and start wearing a drool bib...

| Welcome my son...truely a great age to be! No way you look that old dude. I hope the musky fishing part of life begins NOW; such a dry spell can't wait until 50...don't know if I can wait a few months. At least we can coach the youngsters like the Mikes, the NormALs, the Troyzs etc. as to what to expect in 25 yrs!;) |
