My first trip is done and I have to say I will never go anywhere else. The patterns were as I read all summer (no pattern). First two days were really nice and then the wind hit which made things tough but that's fishing. Two of us boated 7 and I felt good about that considering it was our first trip. We got one fat 40 and a 35 with the rest being 30 and under. Can't wait till next year.

LOTW was my first ever out of town trip for muskies, and I have to agree. I've fished several other places since then and nowhere else compares. We were as green as muskie fishermen come when we went and still managed to see/boat fish on almost a daily basis. Not to mention that the scenery is downright gorgeous!
