| Will be fishing on Moose Lake for the first time next weekend. Was told it was a stained water lake but I am looking for any good tips or ideas where to start and what baits to use?

| Stained may be an understatement. The visibility is about 6"-8". Try the downed timber and channel edges. there are also a few sand humps in the small bays on the south shore with nice weeds on them that top out at 2'. I would be fishing pretty shallow this time of year. It is a pretty high density water, so if it looks fishy give it a try. |

| The islands with nearby access to deeper water pine point and the channels on the north /east end. Orange gold chartreuse and white do well in the root beer colored water. Fun lake - lots of fish and some bigger ones thrown in too. |
