Location: Illinois | Just curious if anyone has experience with these rods. Looking to pair an 8'6" XH with my spare NaCl 60 5.4.
Thanks! |

Location: Minnetonka MN | Pleasantly surprised with Volatile rod. We bought a NACL at the MN Musky show it came with a Volatile rod for $20 which is a great. deal. Have fished with this rod all summer and it has held up great. It is a very light rod for the amount of hooking power it has, so it is very easy to fish with for long hours. |

Location: Western U.P. | If you do a search of old threads, you would see some good comments about these rods. I have a couple of them. An 8' for 3/4-4 oz lures paired with a NaCl50HS, and the 8'6" Musky rod paired with a NaCl60 (5.4:1). They are light, responsive, and load up well (it doesn't hurt that they look pretty cool paired with NaCl's). Have caught quite a few fish on them with no problems. If you don't have one already, check online for end of season sales now thru the end of the season. Bought the 8'er from Gander Mountain.com on sale earlier this year for $80 shipped. I don't think that you would be disappointed with the rod. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | I've had one for a few years now, it has held up well, still looks good. I miss my long handles though. Good rod for the $ . |
