My ten year old wing man put the noose on his second ever musky today, a 37.5". his take down was a thing of beauty as if he was a seasoned pro. My thanks go out to James Haworth of Ti for making "kids" sized musky rods! his happens to be paired with a winch 50 and serves him well. His figure 8's are a treat to watch and has yet to bird nest a cast. I could not be more proud! future muskies, watch out. Family fishing is truly priceless. Get out there!

Awesome pic. I got out about 10 times this year and every time my nine year old son was with. It was a little sad watching him go back to school and knowing our muskie fishing time for the most part was coming to an end for the year. I love hanging in the boat with my son and seeing muskies come boat side. My son missed a 50 incher this year because he wasn't paying attention and didn't go into a figure 8. Trust me, he never missed one boat side tactic after that day. Again, great story, awesome pic and I know exactly what you mean about the joy of fishing with the little one and watching him almost perfect the sport at such a young age.
