| Does anyone have any input about an 1860 Angler or 1860 Reata want to be able to have enough room casting for my Summer LOTW trips but want to be able to have the grandkids in it on the river weekly. Is one better then the other so if you own one please let me here your opinion.

Location: Plymouth, MN | I've owned a Reata 1850RS for the past 5 years and I love it. I can't comment on the Angler, other than I think it may have better rod storage for the longer rods. However, I've been able to make some modifications to make it easier to store my rods along the gunnel, keeping them out of the way. I can fish 2 guys up front, but it's best if they can cast with opposite hands. I wouldn't do it for multiple day trips, but a day trip is fine. When it is time to get the family out for tubing or just cruising, it's very comfortable. I hope that helps. I would arrange a test ride in each if you can. Good luck!

| Also have the Reata 1850. Love it. Very comfortable for cruising / tubin with the kids and wife and take week long trips to LOTW. Have had 2 and 3 guys fishing very comfortably. Rod storage is the challenge but doable. Great lure box storage under the convertible front deck. Angler has a great fishing set up but i went with the Reata as it seemed better for family boating. |

| I have an 1860. If you want a pure fishing maching it is the better option. If you want/need to mix in other activities the Reatta may be the way to go. Both awesome boats its just comes down to your needs.
