I am looking to buy a 7 i/2 or 8 foot rod for throwing smaller baits. any suggestions. I am also looking for a great bucktail/spinnerbait rod. I currently have nothing but St. Croix but I used an all star rod last summer for a day and would consider one. Does Gander handle them? Do you think I could get the same rod for both fishing situations, as in smaller baits and spinnerbaits? G Loomis is out of my price range unfortunately.

Where are you located???

I am in the process of thinning out my collection, trying to get everything down to a manageable level. I have a few rods I am going to sell, not sure how yet -- either on here or on Ebay -- but you can have first shot. They also have Calcutta 400 reels on them, if interested. Currently I know I have a St.Criox 7'10" and 7'6" they two rods would fit your needs perfectly! The longer one has much faster tip and casts the lighter lures great, the other rod is a good heavy rod and will throw any larger Bucktail or Spinnerbait.

Let me know if you are interested -- rods and reels are in very good condition. Rods $60 each and reels $125 each. Both Combos for $325.00

I am in Anoka, MN -- North of Minneapolis ([email protected])

I USE A 7'6" ST CROIX HEAVY FLIPPING STICK FOR THE SMALL STUFF AND IT WORKS WELL. THE FLIPPING STICK IS ALSO CHEAPER THEN A TYPICAL MUSKIE ROD.
