Anybody know of lakes that are producing musky around Mille Lacs or Cedar Lake? Haven't had the best luck up at the cabin this year and looking to expand my horizon. Any info would be great!

Cedar is great ! you just have to get off the bank and fish deeper.

Agreed...if you look at the stocking reports for the lake they are in there but you have to work it a little differiently than a traditional eutrphic lake. Lots of people talk about it being a greatopen water trolling lake (which it can be) so that should give you an indication of where the fish may be...

Thanks for the info guys. Would you suggest a big Jake or something? What are some good lures that go deep when trolling? I was definitely fishing right off the weed edge so maybe that was some of my mistake.

Any deep running crank is good and a cowgirl or super model trolled over deepr water is a good play,but... I would not be afraid to cast some rubber in the deep inside out to the deep as well or slow rooll some spinner baits deep
