| Hey Guys,
Wondering what causes a musky to have an orange, or red tint to them? I've seen it on their fins before. It looks awesome, but I had a follow up yesterday of a musky where the body itself had an orange/red hue to it.

| i believe red fins are a sign of stressed fish, assuming I'm interpreting your description correctly. What were the water temps? | |

| 76 Degrees. Red/Orange fins I've seen, but this was the whole fish, or atleast the top half (back) | |

Location: Black Creek, WI | I'm not sure, but have seen this as well. I just wrote it off as genetic... as I've seen "red" fish from the same spot with "normal" fish... so lake/water conditions cannot be the cause.
I'd describe it as more of a crimson color myself.... | |
