Help, I'm out on Mille lacs, the weather is perfect but I haven't even seen a fish. Never been here before and I've bitten off more than I can chew. Can anyone give me some ideas or point me in the right direction? Pm me if your more comfortable that way. I have to go back to work Tuesday and that's it for my season. thank you so much for any info

Dead Sea no kidding. We have tried everything. North end/ south end big weed beds and rock have a rather large pile of baits I've used on the deck of the boat we haven't even had a follow. It's getting disheartening

They are out on the rocks, I saw one caught and caught one on pounders on the rocks. But just for reference we spent 3 days pounding rocks. We saw the one caught, I hit the one, and we had a follow on blades that would not hit. That was it. Both fish landed were not associated with any feeding window.

Looking to be back up there in OCT so I can throw pounders till my arms fall off and not see anything. But Im going to enjoy it since dad will be there and maybe just maybe a giant will show its self.

Not a numbers fishery like back home but dang are they THICK

Good luck

Thank you long time for the info, I would do anything to fish with my dad one last time. Cancer took him a few years ago very young. How long ago were you here? I'm trying anything I can think of and everywhere I can go (wind related) I'll fish another 14 hours tomorow. Thanks again guys, still looking haven't seen anything yet

We do it as a long weekend, its just over 5 hours for us so we come up on a Thursday after work, fish Friday, Saturday, and Sunday then drive home Monday morning. We just came back from up there last weekend.

Always could be worse, you could be working

Best of luck, stick a pig

I hate the thought of putting the cover on my boat and going back to work

I fished Mille Lacs for 8 straight year I finally gave up. If you are going to find any fish stick to the rocks. Last huge fish I saw was on Oak Bill, another spot that produces once in a while is Hennepin Island. As fur as weeds I have seen some in Tween Bay. There are muskie on the mud flats, One of mine favored one is Seguchie there you troll with deep diving grankbaits stay close to the mud but not in the mud. Troll the edges of the mud flat, Hopefully the weather it will allow it. I use to launch from Garrison reef the flat is about 5 miles out. Also the weed bed at garrison has some huge muskies there
God luck

Still nothing, I just want to thank everyone who had suggestions. Thanks to the guys who pm'd me as well. And to the guys I met at the boat ramps that drew spot for me all over the Map. You guys were all very helpful. I think I will stick to my other lake up north. Jim
