| Buddy got a nice 42.5 at moonrise. Had two other hits that didn't stick. Pretty good for having zero wind for three days straight. |

Location: Watersmeet, Michigan | Fished hard but never raised a fish. Continuing warm, high pressure has shut everything down. They say the weather trumps everything and this year that's really been the case. Oh well, autumn is near!

| Stuck one around 5:30 PM Saturday when absolutely none of the majors or minors were in play. Had another fish up shortly after the release and missed one on a WTD topwater closer to MR. Time on the water has been hard to come by this year. |

| Stuck a mid 40's at moonrise on Saturday on Webster lake Indiana. Bent the hook out and got loose. Still better than a follow...

Location: Wakefield, MI | Saturday morning around 8:30, my dad lost a monster, it dove deep and he couldn't budge it. I've seen him catch 30 pound fish before and never had a problem with those, this was stronger than anything he's ever hooked but we never got a look at it. About 5 minutes later and 50 yards farther down the shoreline he caught about a 43" tiger, then about 2 hours later had another hit. I also saw one about 40" cruising 10 feet down and another sunning itself.
Saturday morning around 10 I caught about a 35" tiger. No other action. Then last night my dad took my uncle out and my dad caught another one about 35" ski, a pike, and had another hit. |

| As usual, my buddy tagged a nice 49 in the middle of the major feeding period and left a couple sub-40's for me.
On St Clair.

| It was SLOW for us. Moved a few fish but the we're lazy and not eating. with the weather conditions it was about what we expected but it still beat the heck out of working. I did manage to catch a good sun burn though. |

Location: On the O | "Stole" this one from my fishing buddy Mike. He had her come in hot on a topwater and splash the boat. I switched lures to match the color and circled back, 20 casts later she was mine!
Was a real firecracker when she saw the net and the whole time in the net. Crazy how they have such different reactions or personalities.
Would have been a PB for Mike

Location: Madison, WI | Fished 3pm till 10pm and moved 3 fish, lost 2 and my buddy got his season first in the bag. Not a huge one but a well earned 33" right after moonrise. Im a new moon kind of guy, UNLESS the weather has been stable for a few days and is just starting to switch things up. |
