Leaving for Ca tomorrow and taking my bro's truck with a 6 ft bed and a hard locking cover on it . Not pulling a boat up . Other than leaving a couple feet of rod hang out any suggestions for hauling my stick ?

How big of a cab? Might fit from the passenger side foot area back to the drivers side backseat area. May not be the most comfortable.

PVC tube with end caps. Spray one end with high vis. orange spray paint and put the tailgate down.

Have the driver hold it out the window and swerve at oncoming traffic like you're jousting!

A 9' rod fits in an extended cab silverado corner to corner. In the mid size bed anyway.
