Have never thrown the Comboo tail, Lotsa experience with Flashers. Do blades spin right away or do they need a kick start sometimes like the flasher? Durability, action, Pro's con's etc... Thanks in advance.

not saying anything about either bait as I don't throw any bucktails I dont make myself anymore. that being said I have thrown flashers and liked them a lot

But Blades spinning has almost nothing to do with the blades or who makes em. It has everything to do with the clevises and how they are touching on the bait itself. Also has about 3% to do with the cupping of the blades. At least in my experience

Make sure the clevises are a perfect "C" shape. Those little $0.02 clevises can bend slightly causing the blades to grab the wire shaft sometimes.
