Location: Elroy, Wisconsin | As promised, the report for LOTW follows and follows was the game. Rocks with pencil reeds was the prime areas with points with rough water a close second. Many, many follows on bucktails especially cow girls......No takers.
The ticket was crank baits on rocks period. Several follows on top water but again no takers. One strike missed in the evening, calm water.
For the week we had 47",46"44",431/2", 39", 35" 34" boated and released.
The water is still at least 3ft. high, somewhat dirty, and an east wind really shut them down. Water temps ranged from 68 to 72 which should have been good. Of the follows two were plus 48". We saw a lot of fish, but takers were few and far between until the rock-pencil reed thing was figured out.
Back again this coming weekend for a week, report to follow. I have a lot of fish spotted so lets see if they are in the mood this next week.
