| I have a hds 5 hooked up to my terrova using the universal sonar and I have the elite 7 on the console using the transducer that was given with the unit when I bought it. Theres weeds and large schools of bait fish in my body of water but I dont get clear cut images of what it is, what background, sensitivity, ect would work the best? Its a relative shallow body of water and murky.

| Here is what I have and I like the appearance for how I fish and what I want to see:
color palette 13
Auto Sensitivity ON
Auto Sensitivity -5%
Surface clarity on (some like this off, but I dont like the noise personally)
The transducer installation will also depend on how clear your detail is too. If its tipped one way or another you will get blobs instead of nice arcs. | |
