I don't know exactly how it happened but when I took one of my Shadillac's out of the box today & when making the first cast it broke. I thing it may have swung it back to cast & gave the rod a good snap forward but I'm not sure. Does anyone know of a way I can repair this or am I screwed?

Thanks

I can't think of any way it could be repaired other than contacting the manufacturer and seeing if maybe a new broken section could be obtained. Good luck.

Nope! I think it went in the water somewhere. I thought the piece would float since it's a floating model. Maybe I'll take it apart & mold a piece of clay onto were the broken piece is & make silcon mold so I can make a whole new piece. That will have to wait until next year though when my finances allow.

Yes it can, drive a screw in eye there, put wire through and wrap it down, if that doesn't work throw it in the garbage

find something to use as a sleeve over the wire so it will still rotate and the rebuild the missing part with a few applications of JB Weld
