Anyone ever throw rubber frogs for muskies? I usually hit the outside weed edge or throw a spinnerbait in the weeds, but today decided to throw on my live target frog that I've been slaying bass with for the past few weeks and chuck it at shore in the lily pads. I ended up catching a 39" musky, my dad had one follow up and hit boat side that was about 43-44", and we had 4 other hit but didn't get the hooks in them. Also caught one bass and had a few hit, one felt like a dandy but he got off.

Was pretty cool, a few times we could see the weeds move around the lure as the fish was approaching, then the lure would just explode.

Gotta pick up a couple more of these, put lure weld on three of them when we got back. Toothy critters are not soft rubber friendly.

Got a 48" on tonka on a frog last October during a bass tournament. They like anything topwater I feel.
Toss that Frogzilla!

...FrogZilla.

^^^This! And the price works fine knowing full well this kind of hollow body lure isn't gonna last a whole lot of fish.
