Who here fishes kinkaid in the fall? If you find my post from earlier i just went on my first musky trip and am definitely hooked.

Anyone willing to let a guy hop in the boat and pay for gas and lunch I get some more Musky action in? I live about 2hrs from kinkaid but no boat to fish it ( at the moment my boat is down) and I've got the itch to
Catch one!

I live here in southern IL , fish Kinkaid all the time, and can point you to several excellent guides on the lake. I would recommend Scott Donovan and/or Colby Simms. I have shared time in the boat with both and they will definitely put you on fish.

It's a little warm to be muskie fishing out there till about mid to late September. After that the bite will be great. Lots of shad for muskies to eat out there, so they should be healthy. Water temps topped 84 yesterday.

That's why I stated
"in the fall"

I thought chad Cain was the only guide out there and I knew he retired. Didnt kno there were any guides on the lake still. Thanks, I'll be booking a trip with on of them

There was a boat out there yesterday trolling for muskie, so that's the only reason I said that. Thanks for the email and hope to see you this fall.
