| What's the word on the Diawa 400? Heard its has plenty of power and strength for 10's, 13's and big rubber. |

Location: NE PA | I have a 5.1 Lexa 400 and it does a great job bringing in blades. 13s are a little work, but that is to be expected. Many times I am unsure if the blades are spinning on 10s. I have only had it for a season, so I can not comment on durablity. |

| Agreed. Have the Lexa 400 5.1:1 and love it. Its true that you dont even feel 10s. Plenty of power and 27" per crank is pretty good for speed. Overall I am very happy with mine. |

Location: Madtown, WI | Have had the 400 for a few outings and like it a lot. I got the 6.3:1 and purchased a power handle from Rollies. Pulls 9s/10s with ease. Only gripe is that the reel is actually a little too small and my fingers cramp up. I had the same problem with the NaCl and got used to it, so maybe I'll get used to this reel as well. I have medium sized hands fwiw.
Also, the line doesn't go straight onto the spool. It angles up and rubs against the line guide and small bar that goes across the frame. Maybe I have too much line on it, but I filled it up to where I normally do. Not sure if that's a problem necessarily or if it's intentional design... just seems odd. |

| I've got the 6.3:1 and have been using it for 8,9,10's and haven't had any problems. Been fishing it since March. I prefer the double paddle handle, so I didn't change it to the power handle. It did take me a day to get used to the magnetic brake (which I still don't fully like), but it's manageable until I'm casting into the wind. Solid reel for the money IMO. |

Location: Almond, WI | My only gripe is a small one--the reel has a disengaging levelwind. In other words, the level wind stays in one position when in freespool which means the line has an odd angled strand underneath and can make the spool a bit uneven or ocassionally cause a backlash. Pretty minor, hasn't caused any real problems, it might be related to stdevos' issue. |

| Got the 6.3:1 and love it. I have a Tranx PG so getting the power version didn't make sense. This was supposed to be a backup/setup for friends and now it spends more time in my hands than anything else.
Comfort - I love it. The narrower design makes it much, MUCH more comfortable than the revo's. I found those to be too wide. Used one again all day Friday and it just reinforced my stance on them.
Power (6.3:1) - handles everything below 8's effortlessly. I throw 8's and up with the Tranx because that just makes more sense. Curado 300E has become the backup
Super smooth
Quality? About 40 hours on this reel and it has a squeak or two that you wouldn't find in a Shimano. With that said, I'm very happy with the quality of this reel. LOVE IT! |
